The Charles E. McNoldy Memorial College Student Award is a one-time $1,000 Scholarship to a Virginia college student studying GIS or a geospatial related field.
This award is in honor of Mr. Charles Edward McNoldy and will be awarded to a student in a Virginia university or college majoring in Geographic Information Systems, a geospatial related field, or other majors with a career or program area focus on Geographic Information Systems.
To apply for this scholarship the student needs to provide an official academic transcript along with a 500-word minimum essay detailing why said student should be the recipient of this scholarship, what the student is working on in school and their long-term goals for the future.
