Everything we do at The Nature Conservancy from science to policy is ultimately tied to a place. Maps, both static and interactive, help us analyze and prioritize the places we work and bring these places to life through compelling visualizations.  To assist our hundreds of geospatial professionals around the world, we have developed cartography guidelines with topics like composition, typography, ethics and accessibility.  These guidelines bring greater quality and consistency to our maps and help ensure alignment with our brand identity.  We’ll discuss the development, organization, and dissemination of our guidelines, along with challenges and next steps in their evolution.
